Scales of War
Wella grew up in a travelling band of Halfling merchants/gypsies. Her youth was a happy one, and being exposed to a great many strange and wonderful cities, she became very worldly early on in her life. As she became more aware of the “family business,” however, the con-artist aspect of gypsy life began to conflict with her budding morality. In a spurt of independence and with a heart filled with high hopes, she left the safety of the camp and struck out on her own.
She was gone no more than two days before the pang of her lost family started to hurt too much, and so she returned to the site of the camp, only to find her family murdered. The telltale signs of cultists of Tiamat, sacrificing her former family to their dark mistress for nothing more than petty greed, awoke a fire within Wella that has not been quenched.
She dedicated herself to Bahamut as the deity most likely to bring her into contact with the agents of Tiamat and strives to avenge the murder of her family.
Wella is strong spirited but young, which brings both naivete and a lack of combat experience. She is a tenacious enemy and will hunt down any that wrong her or her kind.
